Safety Tips

We are fastly approaching the summer months with more drivers are on the road. Easter Seals, Work Services would like to make sure all staff and consumers are safe when travelling or on outings. Please make sure to:

1. Prepare your vehicle for any trips: oil change, filter change, AC checked, etc
2. Take some extra time to plan your trip allowing you plenty of time to safely arrive at your destination
3. Follow all Speed Limits – the News Media has reported local and state police will be issuing tickets for anyone going 5 miles over speed limits. With budget cuts law enforcement is trying to fill the void. Issuing speeding tickets is one way to increase revenue. Be aware of your speed zones and follow them
4. Do NOT use your Cell phone when driving. Use your Bluetooth or pull off the road.
5. Obey all other traffic rules
6. Watch for cyclists
